And the line keeps playing as I listen to the sound
Of the thunder, watching the lightning zip through the sky
And my thoughts begin to wander
To where my love at the moment, far away from me...
The rain brings forth happy memories
Comforting thoughts in loneliness
That on those rainy days we held hands together
Keeping us warm as the cold wind blows
Not minding the darkness around
Longing for the rain to keep on falling
Wishing my love would soon be there
And under the rain we can hold each other again
Reminisce the other rainy days
Of shared fun and laughter
